Rather than hiding an entire page, Redaction, Protect High Security Content for Confluence provides a more granular level of content visibility, enabling you to hide words or paragraphs within a page.
Users without permission to see the redacted content will see a black mark instead, making them aware that the content has been redacted.
Users who can view/edit the redacted content will see it highlighted, indicating the highlighted content is confidential.
The Redaction macro can be used multiple times within a single page, with different view/edit permissions each time if needed.
If no users or groups are provided when inserting the macro, the creator will be considered as the only user who has view permissions on the redacted content. You can change this to add a group, for example, by editing the macro.
